I am embarrassed to admit that I have geography dementia, but I'm not anywhere close to being as bad as these people. I wonder how many of them thought that the flat map was a true rendering of Earth, as well.

DeleteA few years ago, while talking to an adult, I had to explain that North America was not just another name for Canada. His reasoning was that 'Murica is America, and anything else would, therefore, be either north or south of it. I'm pretty sure what his thoughts were about gender, as well, but the subject never came up, so I didn't have to explain that to him (gender would be north/sex would be south?). :)

DeleteMaybe Elon will come up with a car that can make that drive! To expand on my analogy, how much drive does it take to get from masculine to feminine, and how long does it take? Elon wouldn't be interested in that, though. :)
