I hadn't seen Angela for a long time. She works at the jewelry counter at The Bay in the east end of the city and she came up to greet me.
"How are you doing, long time no see. I thought to myself what happened to this lady""It's true I used to come more frequently when Montreal wasn't 24/7 traffic but now am retired and without car and just roam around using public transit"
"Good for you I do the same" she replies.
Angela is maybe 10 years my junior and we compared notes on how life is going and the length of our hair. Hers is also short with a slight hint of red.
It's nice to have people remember you and I am so much more free to just freewheel with them. It's like a load has been permanently dropped from the shoulders.
