Blinders

I talk to everyone because people are fascinating. I will be at a bus stop and a small greeting turns into commentary on the current state of the world. I maintain that most people are lovely with all of them dealing with their own crosses and blessings.

It's easy to get lost inside our own minds and keep the blinders on, but the more we remove them the better life becomes.

The older francophone lady this morning counted her lucky stars she had a roof over her head and food on the table. It wasn't lost on her that things are not entirely as they should be for so very many.
