Over reach

Rather than stick to the question at hand, the most conservative of the supreme court justices over reached and concluded that a self-executing section 3 of the 14th amendment required that Congress weigh in. This is not in the constitution (someone please correct me) so effectively what they have now done is ensure that should you have a majority in congress, you can have an insurrectionist in power with no consequences.

Of course there was dissent by all of the female justices including Barrett who still covered herself politically by stating that her more liberal colleagues were not sufficiently bringing down the temperature.

This court has zero credibility.
