Pestilence

The American people will ultimately be the ones who decide their future at the ballot box. Republican gerrymandering and draconian attempts to control the population through the courts has left many despondent especially when the two-tiered justice system fails to contain a criminal GOP presidential candidate. The frustration in comment sections of political content is overflowing to the extreme and to say there is Trump fatigue is beyond understatement.

His voice grates on the nerves; lazy slurring, frequent gaffes, the meaness and stupidity which long ago stopped surprising magnify what is obviously an empty husk of a human. This is what dysfunctional parenting at the extreme can do to a person and yet it only draws some in the population more.
I am not glad this happened but it often takes a great pestilence to shock a population out of its stupor.

Even pestilence is at this point too weak a word.
