People make the mistake of asking retired people what they are doing as if being occupied is somehow a great priority. They cannot imagine that not doing something could be useful and even beneficial. I just tell them I am very happy not doing a job I had acquired great distaste for. For the first time in my life I can fully breathe and focus on my own needs instead of those of others.
Some people can't sit still but I can even as I have many pursuits I enjoy.
Priceless.
Also retired. What am I doing? Spending a lot of time reading about gender variant topics among other things. See, there is this blog...... ;-)
