Going through some things

Ignorance and stupidity are like conjoined twins; they come as a pair. All over the red States the GOP is in a frantic race to the bottom to see how far back in time they can take their party. Book banning, abortion and IVF banning, LGBTQ bashing, etc and there are white nationalists running in races who are holocaust deniers and some have been photographed next to guys who still wear white sheets over their head.

Everytime I try to hope that people are more clever I am proven repeatedly wrong. Many who aren't malevolent have their head so buried in the sand that they cannot look up from their social media feed to see what is happening around them. It's depressing not because this has always existed and always will, but because of the speed at which the cover over society can be blown so we can see the full extent of the rot underneath.

It's now in the hands of voters to save their democracy...
