Unrest in the ranks

The recent comments from Elon Musk about H-1B visas and immigration have gotten under the skin of MAGA cultists who hate immigrants especially those with dark skin. This is what happens when your movement is based on an unholy alliance of diverging interests. Smells more like class war between tech bros and Kool-aid cultists to me.

Musk is an opportunist who clings to Trump for business interest but people like Steve Bannon are part of the hard core group of radicals who want a dictatorship so they can radically change the country. 

There hasn't been a swearing in ceremony and the clown car is already in full swing. Even afterwards, since Trump is an idiot he will have trouble controlling the different factions and interests.

Governing will be difficult and almost every day there will be something which makes people wince. There will be reversals and I can see the potential for some members of congress to grow a spine and vote against the orange menace and his cabal. There will be inevitable infighting because that is what happens when you give the reins of power to crazy people who care more about their own agendas and egos than the health of the country as a whole. 

Plus, the Trump base is made up largely of hateful, frustrated and low information people who don't understand history or the political process and can be easily manipulated which makes them erratic and dangerous. 

Ultimately, that's never going to end well.
