Trump chose to hold a last press conference before the midterms in front of a Washington mall reflecting pool which could very well become emblematic of both his disastrous tenures as president.
Even Jimmy Kimmel's writers had a field day by saying that maybe he could win "the massive piece of pool prize" in reference to another of Trump's frequent and deeply idiotic brain misfires. I chuckled out loud to myself upon hearing it.

The only potential saving grace could end up being the jolt to the country's nervous system which finally sees them address campaign finance reform, taxation law, public education, climate change and, dare I hope, even gun laws.

Tonight Americans get a chance at some tide reversal even as Trump still remains at the helm. If there aren't steps taken afterwards for reparations of injustices the entire regretful episode will have been for naught in serving as lesson.
Racism has also been way up over the last 10 years because it was given oxygen under a toxic regime looking for cultural distraction and division.
