In progress

Both a lack of patience and a fickle temper are being worked on with success the latter even more so. We are a constant work in progress and it is amazing how much coming to a state of calm can help.

Young Emma tells me this morning I look great and I think she was referring to that. She would regularly serve me coffee at a place I used to frequent before retirement and knows I needed to take a chill pill in the late stages of my stress filled career. All the while I was also cleaning up the psyche regarding how to live my life going forward.

This morning she noted the improvement on my face which reflected what internally I was already feeling.

I also see a lady there who is about 10 years my senior who was also a regular. We talk and she tells me she hopes they have caught her stage 3 lung cancer early enough.

I tell her I am confident that they have sincerely hoping it to be true.
