What I bring to the table

I used to think in reverse. Who would want to be with a person like me who is so different?

Now I have turned the tables and it is I who will decide who I accept into my life which is what happens when you appreciate your full value as a person.

I am fully self-contained, mature and my ideas on love have greatly expanded. They have extended to trying to love and appreciate whatever goodness I can find in humanity. Should another type of love emerge on its own then so be it but it's no longer a necessity or a prerequisite to being content for I know perfectly well who I am and know what I bring to the table.
