To be in harmony with the self requires that both the body and mind relax. Once we feel that we know we are being genuine and authentic. We are less aware of what others see or think because it doesn't matter unless they are trying to help you improve as a person.
This is a process of immersion into who we are where we tune out what is irrelevant and unimportant. We disregard all opinions which don't matter and aren't useful.
This took me a very long time and every time I thought I was there I wasn't. No doubt there is still going to be improvement because we never stop progressing if we work on it. Life is an iterative process of refinement.
Calming into the self involves letting our mask drop to become the most genuine version of ourselves. We want to attain the fullest expression of our humanity which requires transparency and honesty and uplifts us.
During my brunch yesterday I was in my zone of calm where the self-consciousness drops and you are just fully yourself.
