Here is the number one question that gender therapists get among their patients with a history of cross gender behavior wondering whether they are transgender or not.
Worth a visit if you aren't sure where you fit.
Either way just be happy :)
As I was waiting for my bus to depart yesterday, I saw a young confident transgender person somewhere in their 20's walk towards the met...
This is so me right now. I’ve really been struggling with that exact question lately—because yes, my journey absolutely started in a sexual place. And I still enjoy that feminizing aspect in a sexual context. But at the same time, there’s this whole separate layer where gender shows up in my everyday life. I just want to live how I want. Not perform. Not pretend. Just exist.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this video. It’s helping me feel a little less alone in all the confusion. 💜
So glad I could help. You are asking exactly the same questions I did. They answers will come;)
DeleteI started very young (around age 4 or 5) and had no sexual component until I reached puberty which then made me reject all this. I finally understood I was transgender all along but it took a long time to figure it out
DeleteI have maintained for a while now that "gender euphoria" and "arousal" get intertwined and that causes all sorts of confusion for people. I feel not enough gets written about that. That's why this question keeps coming up.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is even worse for those of us that grew up in the 70's 80's for example where there was no vocabulary or literature on any of this stuff, compared to now.

Glad you're still here;) the way I view this is that the arousal presence can mean different things. It can be an end goal or sign of something deeper. Out job is to determine what it means with patience and no preconceived ideas. The reason it isn't talked about is that many people don't want to admit that it is more of a driver than they care to admit to themselves. An honest self-appraisal goes a long way. Also the expanding transgender umbrella has confused many into thinking there is more to their gender variance than there is :)
