The meaning of clothes

The process of adopting traditionally  feminine clothing as your own is both slow and organic. It is tied into the neuroplasticity which allows you to accept your identity which moves in conjunction with expression.

I used to think I had reached a plateau and was repeatedly proven to be wrong. After a while there was no novelty left but thankfully it was replaced with a rightness which felt much better.

You feel right because you have addressed a gap that was there since early childhood and you become calmer in the process.

I wasn't changing anything in my daily routine, only that the psychology which was lagging behind finally caught up.

  1. That feeling of "rightness" is unmistakeable. Like wearing a left shoe on your right foot all your life. It fits but something is off.

Then you "crossdress" by putting a right shoe on your right foot. It just "feels right." And you can't undue that realization. You can't unknow that. You can't go back to that left shoe.

    2. But yes you are correct. What you thought should have been foreign to you turns out to be an intrinsic piece which is tied to identity. In that sense, transgender people don't "crossdress" but instead they just get dressed in the morning.:)
