What are the odds

What are the odds.

I am sitting in a subway car and not ten feet in front of me is a young transgender woman who is growing out her own hair, dressed in a camisole type summer dress and combat boots.

Directly in the seat in front of me is someone I would describe as a part timer wearing a not so well fitting blond wig, dark sunglasses and a heavily patterned dress.

No one gave a hoot and all I could think was "yes this must be the 21st century":)
