I think I am a nice person but if you perturb me sufficiently you will get a tongue lashing. If we don't respect ourselves no one is going to and as transgender people we are more obligated than average to do that.
I've been told I carry myself with a certain air which has helped me tremendously in public. I don't look around to see who is looking because I know who I am and have the same rights as any other human.
Be lovely to people but also respect yourself.
