I could be wrong but after Paramount settled their suit with Trumpty Dumpty for $16 million one of the conditions might have been the cancelation of the late show with Stephen Colbert for in 10 months that show will no longer exist. Colbert called out CBS for capitulating to the slime ball president and three days later the cancelation was announced.

The late night comics particularly Colbert and Kimmel have been constant pains for the tangerine mussolini who was likely looking for revenge. Many will cancel their subscriptions to Paramount Plus in protest and will follow Colbert wherever he goes. 

In the end, the Trump regime will collapse but the shame of those who cooperated will remain and people have long memories.
