Please explain

Someone explain this to me.

Trump hails a deal with Japan where Americans will now pay 15% on imported Japanese goods. US cars for example will now start off more expensive because of the tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum plus the Japanese don't like US cars to begin with.

How does the US win?

The Japan stock market went up only because they were expecting 25% but you can see this is seat of your pants deal making which fits Trump's messy logic.

Bottom line: American consumers pay more because they bear the brunt of the tariffs which Trumpy keeps saying he is charging other countries. Tariffs are paid by the importer.

As a side note, Lutnick, like Trump, is a moron.
