Shunned

I would argue that authenticity should be public. For if we are being genuine then we should be both proud and open about it. 

It does not matter where your authenticity is sourced or what form it takes but to liberate the psyche fully we must embrace it at the risk of being shunned. 

However, if we are shunned due to our authenticity, we should question what value those who shun us bring.
